Very rarely wears skirts, except for special occasions. In contrast to her modest clothes, she enjoys flashy jewelry such as rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and anklets (the more unconventional, the better).

Backstory

Before joining Team Magma, Miriam had a tendency to bounce from job to job. Her first position was in athletics as she was a talented cheerleader in her high school days, and since then she has been employed in a wide variety of sectors: retail, food service, hospitality, corporate, education...if you can think of it, she has probably dabbled in it at some point. It was during her stint as a prostitute at The Saucepital nightclub that she realized she actually wanted to pursue a job in medicine rather than get paid to roleplay it. The origins of her medical degree may be dubious, but she passed her exams and became a licensed nurse for Team Magma, the only organization who would agree to hire her with her spotty employment history.

Ongoing Story

As one of the only full-time nurses on the medical staff, Miriam has her own office in the medical wing of Team Magma's base. Typically, her days are slow, allowing her time to surf the internet in-between appointments, but she does allow walk-ins, which catch her off-guard sometimes. She has a reputation around the base for being the trusted nurse of Admin Tabitha, having cared for him when he first joined Team Magma, so she gets a lot of her business from his followers.

Likes/Dislikes

Miriam has a passion for reading fanfictions online and she runs a semi-popular critique blog with the team therapist, Youko. They are especially fond of reading and reviewing erotica, in which she takes personal enjoyment in debunking the wildly outrageous, anatomically-incorrect goings-on. She is especially skilled in establishing her outward appearance as polite, professional, and somewhat shy, but underneath this guise of uncertainty is a particularly naughty individual who indulges in a variety of unconventional kinks, her favorite being the medically-influenced breed of roleplay from her past job at The Saucepital. Her workspace is spotless as she is a stickler for the level of cleanliness and organization that her job demands. She is a skilled cook (she was once a sous-chef at a Unovan-style restaurant) and enjoys making spice-laden dishes from her hometown, Nimbasa City. In her spare time when she isn't working/reading, she can usually be found in the gym pulling off some sick gymnastics moves, going backcountry four-wheeling, or taking her Rapidash out for a day on the town.

She rarely gets angry, but Kota's uncooperative attitude drives her up a wall, so she is thankful that Yui accompanies him to his appointments. Being somewhat picky when it comes to food, she is not very fond of the native Hoenn diet and buys most of her food from import stores, which costs her a pretty penny.

Strengths/Weaknesses

Miriam is eager to learn and spends a lot of time on the internet investigating a wide range of topics she reads about in magazines or hears in conversation. When she isn't donning her professional persona, she has a tendency to gossip over coffee with Youko and the two of them swap confidential information about their patients all the time in the name of "medical needs". She is street smart and savvy in the art of conversation, allowing her to make friends easily.

Sometimes, she can be a tad scatterbrained and forgetful, but her strict adherence to a schedule usually keeps this in check. She is somewhat soft-spoken and extremely gullible, so it is easy for others to take advantage of her. Because she never took the traditional route to getting her medical license, she is not entirely sure what she is doing half the time, so she often has to look up symptoms for ailments on the internet, taking extra precautions so that her monitor is turned away from her patient.
