The Kingkiller
Murdoch, born as Catherine, was originally the illegitimate child of a noble in the Aldebrand kingdom. While he never claimed her or her servant mother, he supported them with money and provided her with a full education. She grew up with an acute understanding of the unjustice sprouting up around her and a powerful fury that motivated her to do something about it.
She started out as a phantom thief, moving in as a servant then robbing her noble employers blind and redistributing their wealth. She gained a reputation, and while eventually she was caught, it was by someone who understood her pain and agreed to help her organize. She moved into organizing the people, collecting farmers and peasants into a furious force of action.
Together, they stormed the capital, captured the royalty, and Murdoch became the Kingkiller, beheading the royalty herself to make way for the democracy to come.
In modern verses, she runs a local anarchist group and is still incredibly involved in the activist community. She's a butch lesbian who wears denim, leather, and rides a motorcycle, proudly fulfulling the anarchist dyke stereotypes.
