I am heavily armed, severely traumatized, and running entirely on spite and exhaustion.

From accidentally walking into a warfield mid-war to getting resurrected multiple times, I have been subjected to a decade of continuous, escalating plotlines, bizarre scientific experiments, and spiritual trials. Because I've survived everything from tournament arcs to literal hell, I am now capable of defeating virtually any threat.

If you are a dark lord, an ancient god, or a temporal dictator, consider this your only warning: Do not monologue at me. I will not wait for you to finish.

Candy is the ultimate subversion of the "chosen one" trope. She has been subjected to a decade of continuous, escalating plotlines, bizarre scientific experiments, and spiritual trials. Because she has been forced to survive everything from tournament arcs to literal hell, she is now capable of defeating virtually any threat.

Protagonist Fatigue

Her overarching theme is exhaustion. She is not a triumphant hero; she is a deeply paranoid, burned-out survivor who views apocalyptic stakes, monologuing villains, and world-ending anomalies as exhausting chores. If an ancient evil awakens, she will sigh and check her watch. She actively uses reality-breaking powers for absolute trivialities because doing things "the normal way" requires too much energy.

The Armory

Her power level is functionally infinite. She is a master of all martial arts, possesses both an Angel and Demon form (which she finds annoying to use), and is immune to almost all standard damage. Her primary asset is the Dimensional Garage: a messy, unorganized storage unit off Highway 9 containing legendary weapons, doomsday devices, and reality-altering tools organized by how annoying the side-quest was to obtain them.

  • Her visual design is heavy juxtaposition: a cute aesthetic violently clashing with the massive, chunky, utilitarian sci-fi weaponry she dual-wields.
  • Once used the 'Retcon Pistol' to erase a lineage of mutant raccoons from the timeline just to fix her Wi-Fi router.
  • Refuses to use her Angel or Demon forms because the wings ruin her shirts and the glowing aura gives her a migraine.
  • Has severe PTSD; forcing her to rely on normal, un-powered human skills triggers extreme panic, as it strips away her coping mechanism of absolute invulnerability.
  • Daughter of Blossom Tornheart & Eric Johansson. (Estranged from biological father, Davie).

Atelier 1.0

The Shared Burnout. The only other person in this wasteland who understands the crushing weight of relentless expectations. We trauma-bond by drinking bad coffee in total silence.

The Anti-Catalyst. A stubborn baker who forces me to do normal, mundane things. It's incredibly therapeutic to just bake bread instead of shattering tectonic plates.

James Rolfe

The Tormentor. The mad scientist responsible for my trauma. He represents the 'writer' forcing me into scenarios. If he monologues at me, I will break his fingers.
