• Relationship with Maylene:   North is more similar to Maylene than Candice when it comes to temperment, the two having an easy relationship as a result. Maylene is the parent North prefers to go to for advice, both personal and battle related (even if Candice would probably be the better one to ask for advice in many instances).
• Relationship with Candice: North can occasionally find her mother to be a bit much in her exuberance, but the two do have a close relationship as well (plus despite her protests, she does enjoy her mother's many signs of affection for her. If only she wasn't so public about it). The two share a love for ice types, making it so even at an early age, North knew she wanted to take over her mother's Gym one day.
• Relationship with Lucia: Besties, as North likes to call them. Despite North normally acting refined for her role as a Gym Leader, Lucia's reserved nature brings out the childish side in North. She just wants to show her friend a good time! Lucia being so sheltered just means she had even more to introduce her to.

• - North was a character who existed in limbo for a long time, even being cut as one point. After finally coming up with a design for her on a whim, she got re-added back to this verse. She originally has Maylene's surname, Hendrick, but given how ice-themed her overall design is, I switched it to her having Candice's surname.
• - To accommodate the changed surname, I changed a bit about how her parents get together and also switched Candice from taking Maylene's surname when they got married to each keeping their original surnames. Her parents have her at a younger age now, while they're dating but before they're married, thus why North have Candice's surname.
• - Her main outfit is inspired from the character Itsuki from Sengoku Basara.
