Marius is a homicide detective who doesn't live too far from Seattle, Washington. Being a single father, he spends most of his time off from work taking care of his young daughter. Though, he can't always be there for her due to his work, so he'll hire a babysitter during those times. He's always loved being a detective and he worked hard to get his degree, but recently he's taken on a strange case that has lead him to meet new people and things he's never even dreamt of.

Marius is annoyed to no end around Dr. Mourns. He can clearly see that he's into him, but he doesn't know why, but assumes it's because he wants to kill him. Marius is also a little afraid around them, knowing that they're a rather ancient vampire with many skills. Lastly, not to mention, his fear may also come from the fact that Mourns is very unpredictable.

Marius isn't exactly sure what Luka's deal is, but he doesn't trust him regardless. Luka tries to help Marius with the case he's dealing with, but due to Luka being a werewolf, he just isn't sure if he can trust him.
Marius is terrified of Devereux. He's massive in stature and stoic, and he can never seem to get a read on him. He tried to avoid him if he can.
Marius knows that Vulnus is very obsessive and takes after Mourns. He's weary of him, knowing that he can be quick to snap as well. In a way, he feels bad for him though. He can tell that he has suffered a lot and doesn't know how to handle many things. That being said, Marius feels that he can not fully blame him for his odd or inappropriate behavior.
