Vault is an alias, but his given name is a guarded, unpronounceable secret. A soldier for hire, his specialties lie in great escapes and precise kills; a sniper rifle is his weapon of choice as he picks off his employer's enemies from afar. Behind the scope, Vault takes his job seriously, and seems to even delight in his own efficiency. All other times, however, he borders on insufferable. Even with the hellish overconfidence of his youth having died down to something tolerable, he still seems to think very highly of himself, and has few qualms about sharing his opinions, messing with a teammate, or engaging in wanton destruction in the name of the goal. It calls his reliability into question often, but he rarely fails, and is more than proud enough to point that out. He has a vague background, like others in his business. What is known is that he's from the deeper reaches of space, places known for their brutal wastelands.
