They wereapart of a haunted house where people went missing, and since theyre actively living INSIDE the walls and inside the area he isnt a stranger to people getting murdered. He struggles a lot with trauma related to abandonment issues and they dont want to leave the house because the ghosts inside of it is all they've ever known. They meet asher whos also been inside the house but doesnt like asher because they want the house all alone. Ivy is apart of the house they died inside the house and their body got covered in ivy/spikes and thats why theyre named ivy and why they look the way they do.
