Formerly the personal guard of King Luxcian, he is presumed dead following a fire that also killed Luxican's first Queen. During his time at the King's side he fell in love with the Queen who was manipulating his feelings. She used him to remove certain threats to her Kingdom as well as to warm her bed until one day she took it too far and got caught in a fire she'd had Actaeon set up to kill one of the council members. After her death Actaeon was free from her manipulations and went into hiding, living in the tunnels running beneath Anvidian. He alone knows the truth about the Queen and her secrets.
