Jane Cogwright

Jane is a detective for the city police. An older model android, she isn't bothered by how obviously not-human she is. In fact, she prefers being upfront about it; there's no point in beating around the bush about what she is, even if people get angry about "robots taking over human jobs".
She specializes in forensics, and since she doesn't need to sleep, she is almost always working at the station. 

Despite it having no effect on her, she smokes. It helps her feel more grounded and part of the team.
