Obsessive and driven by a love far overblown, Akemi falls nothing short of the classic yandere archetype.
Endearing and sweet, Akemi was a fine girl growing up with many friends. But there was one boy she spent most of her time with, and that was Elliot. Being close neighbors, the two were very fond of one another's company. However, with an unwarranted good bye from Elliot, Akemi grew obsessed with his return over the years and planning for ways to keep him by her side. That's when it hit her, a perfect way for Elliot to never leave her side for long.
To Akemi, Elliot is the ideal in every way possible to her. It wasn't until he left that Akemi realized how much she depended on Elliot as a source of comfort, and it was those initial feelings of longing that continued to grow and manifest into something toxic. However, she masks her true feelings for Elliotin hopes of keeping their relationship the same as when they were young.
