Goopy comes off as the silent, stoic type, but deep down she's full of love and wonder. She finds joy in the littlest things and takes no kind gesture for granted. That being said, she's not one to easily forgive and holds grudges that outlive most things on Earth.
A being manifested from the wishes of a young girl long ago, Goopy's memories are flooded with centuries worth of devastation that humans have brought upon the ocean with their selfishness. Her morality was soon corrupted by the constant sight of pollution and disregard for the delicate oceanic ecosystems, and she soon became a monster all humans feared as they ventured through her seas. Uncaring for their way of life, she's caused numerous shipwrecks and casualties in hopes of fending off these humans. Nowadays, she spends her time with her dearest girlfriend Mukau and best friend Cheese!
Goopy has lived an extraordinarily long life, but never felt something as whole and wonderful as being with Mukau. Love wasn't something Goopy understood until she grew to knew and trust Mukau, and before she knew it she was head over fins for her. There was something about her earnestness and passion that convinced Goopy that Mukau wasn't all talk, and wanting to match her energy, Goopy tries her best to live a peaceful life alongside the humans for Mukau's sake. No one comes close to Mukau in her mind.
Goopy and Cheese are bound to one another, much like the Moon and Ocean are. Cheese is not only Goopy's best friend, but she's almost like a sister to her. For the longest time, they only had each other to count on in a world where there was no one else quite like them. There's absolutely no one who can replace Cheese in Goopy's heart, though she wishes Cheese was a little more aware of their surroundings.
