the hydra, a mythical creature that is known for its ability to regenerate: if one head is cut off, two more grow back to take its place.
this hydra doesn’t like the idea of growing any more heads. in fact, it fills them with an intense dread to even imagine it. “if i grow another head, would that even still be me?” as such they’re determined to stick with the one head they were born with.
of course, they happen to be the only one-headed hydra in their family… the next relative with the least amount of heads has four. so that leads to a lot of awkward moments.
