CherryOak

CherryOak is a plump she cat with luscious long fur who prides herself in selfcare. She is a gentle, sweet cat who does everything in her power to avoid violence. She is quite fragile and relies on her mate for comfort and support in tense situations. Although she has lazy qualities; shes a reliable hunter in Shadowclan. Whenever a cat needs advice, or a shoulder to cry on- CherryOak rushes for that position.

CherryOak's personality formed at a very young age. She idolzed her mother AmberHeart for her kindness and wisdom. Enjoying her stories and her sweetness. CherryOak faced many troubles though; bullying from her siblings and abuse from her father because of her sweet deminor. Though the harshness never stopped her from wanting to spread love to others. If anything it helped her passions grow. She grew up quiet, though after meeting her mate her sheltered personality vanished. She became charismatic, lovable and considered one of the kindest in ShadowClan.

CherryOak was born into Shadowclan by her mother AmberHeart and her father iceStorm. Her mother was a very sweet, lovable rich-pink coloured cat. And her father was an off-white tom who towered over many of the clan cats. He was considered one of the most hardworking, loyal cats to Shadowclan. IceStorm took his duties as seriously as possible, even after his first and only litter. AmberHeart begged for him to take priority over his kits rather than his duties. Which IceStorm hardly agreed to. He would continue late night patrols, leaving AmberHeart alone to tend to the four kits. Their relationship strained from this, but as the kits began to move around more and speak, Icestorm took a sudden interest. Shoving his ideology down their throats as soon as he could; constantly talking about how important the code is, and how they must fulfill their duties or face being shamed upon. AmberHeart disagreed with his teachings fully, causing many late night fights outside the nursery.

Cherrykits other three siblings are Snowkit, Hollykit and Knotkit. Kithood for CherryKit was a little rough. With her fathers toughness and dedications being idolized by her siblings they often picked on her for the young kits soft, lazy, gentle personality- which was much like her mothers. Because of this, she spent most of her kithood close by her mothers side. Listening to her rambles and stories and how kindness and love should always be first. CherryKit looked up to her mother heavily, often refusing kit play to sit and listen to her talk. IceStorm disliked Cherrykits behaviour, often shouting at her. On one memorable night, Cherrykit was listening to a story from her mother as her siblings played a ways from them. IceStorm came in from a patrol, causing the wrestling kits to pile over each other in excitement at his approach. Yet CherryKit didn't bat an eye at her father and continued to listen. This angered Icestorm; who began to shout at CherryKit for her rudeness. She didn't reply again. Instead she buried herself deeper into her mothers paws. Icestorm grabbed Cherrykit by her scruff, throwing her hard at the nursery wall as he continued to shout down at her. His yellings ended quickly as the Queens shouted over him, removing him forcefully from the nursery. This sparked a traumatizing fear of violence and aggression which would stick with her forever.

The soft little fuzzball became an apprentice faster than she wanted. Having to leave the comfort of the nursery was hard for her, but her mentor; VenomFang helped the anxious apprentice the best he could. CherryPaw struggled horribly with her battle training, never once winning a fight against her fellow apprentices. What made up for her lack of fighting was her skill in hunting. CherryPaw was praised as the best huntress in her trainings. Though, through most of her apprenticehood she did it alone. She didn't much friends growing up, and would enjoy keeping herself company by playing in the flowers or stalking the butterflies and of course hanging out with her mother. Her sweet carefree life took a change near the end of her apprentice training. Her brother, KnotPaw, murdered their father. Although she didn't have a healthy relationship with him, CherryPaw was saddened over his death. AmberHeart on the other hand was absolutely destroyed and CherryPaw spent many nights comforting her mother after.

Soon after her apprentice training came to an end and she was given the name CherryOak. Her sister SnowBerry left shadowclan right after their warrior's ceremony. Then HollySky. Leaving her alone with her mother as her only family. CherryOak continued to keep to herself, providing bountiful food for the clan and small talk here and there. As moons passed, CherryOak attended a gathering. There she formally met one of her clanmates named HollowScar. He was a tall dark grey / black tom who easily towered over the light pink she. HollowScar complimented her pelt as his introduction; sparking a forever lasting love between the two. CherryOak spent more time with HollowScar, finally feeling like she had a loving, caring friend. After many moons of being close, they became official. This helped CherryOak come out of her shell, making long lasting friendships with other clan members. And was seen as a reliable, trustworthy friend to many. --
