A Gang Member who Can't Intimidate People

Ulric is a part of the Scarlet Snake Gang, also known as the Apismian Mafia. He and his partner Nen have traveled the empire doing many sketchy and dark things, from selling drugs, to outright assassinations. So, you'd expect Ulric to be at least somewhat feared, right?
Wrong. Ulric can never catch a break, even though he's in a gang and can take on some of the strongest people in fights, anyone who sees him only sees an adorable fluffy doggie. He hates it.
It doesn't help that his own genetics are out to get him. Pink skin, a floppy puppy-like ear, even his own gradient! Pink? Seriously?!
In the end, Ulric has decided he's just cursed, and if anyone tries to pet him, one more time he will break their kneecaps.
...Excluding Nen, he's the only one who gets a free pass.

Ulric and Nen joined the gang around the same time, and as such were placed together. Ulric hated him at first. A Scary crocodile? This bastard had it easy! But over time Nen grew on Ulric, to the point of even getting his first gradient color from him. Now they're in this weird, "are we dating, or are we not" relationship... How annoying.
