Iikka

Iikka is some manner of weyr-dweller; he was raised outside of typical pernese society (having lived with his father, who ran what could be called a mercenary company if you squinted, in a very small settlement outside of any preexisting hold or weyr), and a lot of the trappings of holder and craft societies are alien to him. Even weyr society is strange to him, with its emphasis on assigning leadership on the whims of dragons rather than proven skill. In general, he tries, but still has issues with reading situations and his excessively literal tendencies can lead to problems.

Looks a few years older than he is, which leads to strange looks when he's with S'ren (despite this, S'ren is the older of the two).

He's some manner of neurodivergent; he has difficulty reading social cues and has more than once stomped on proverbial toes completely on accident.

His father was once a bronzerider before he lost his dragon. Iikka never knew until after he died because Grahile never talked about it.
