Jingle And Carla

Jingle is a sentient animatronic clown/jester who was built to entertain children for parties. Jingle was abused by most of the children he entertained, and was left in a junk yard for scrap. Carla found him while playing near the junk yard, and she helped to find Jingle the parts to repair himself. Jingle ends up taking Carla under his wing, and the two go from place to place with each other.

Jingle is in a loving relationship with his monster boyfriend, Stamper. Jingle adores Stamper, and will do anything to please him. He loves to climb onto his very tall boyfriend's shoulders and perch on top of him. Jingle is incredibly affectionate around Stamper and can usually be found within at least ten feet of his boyfriend.

Jingle has extendable limbs that can reach up to twice his usual height of 6 feet. His tail is the most articulate of his limbs, and it is not unusual for him to express himself with it. Because of his robotic nature, Jingle cannot get wet. It ruins his inner workings and makes it difficult for him to function. He keeps away from most liquids when possible.

Beneath Jingle's vibrant clothing lays his dented, mismatched frame. After his run-in with the rather unhappy group of children that sent him to the junk yard, his frame was in tatters. He had to mostly replace the plating on his arms. His chest and legs, however, were able to be fixing with a bit of messy welding. Jingle is incredibly self conscious about it, and tends to keep most of his frame hidden beneath his clothes.

Jingle is amazing with a needle and thread. He loves to see, knit, and so forth. He is incredibly skilled in making clothes, which is where Carla gets her wardrobe.

Jingle functions by taking in magic from the air around him- which makes it look like he's breathing. The magic is then stored within him and acts similarly to blood does. It keeps Jingle's body moving, and his inner workings functioning. When injured, the magic tends to seep out. The liquified magic is a light blue color that glows faintly. Jingle has a blue and black striped tongue. The blue sections glow, and can be used as an indicator for how much energy he has. Blue means that he's at a healthy amount, yellow means that he's about half, red means that he's very low, and grey/not glowing means that he's out of power and will be shutting down shortly.

Carla is an 8 year old witch who had bad parents. She loves to draw on Jingle's frame, hence the little heart he has scribbled on his right arm. Carla loves Stamper. She enjoys hanging off of him, and braiding his long hair. She regularly draws pictures of her, Stamper, and Jingle together as a happy family.

Carla, as a young witch, knows a little bit of magic. She loves to learn, and owns quite a few spell books from her time digging around in the dump. Her most notable spell is her subspace spell- which allows her to store anything within her very own pocket dimension. It's a very common spell, but incredibly useful. She stores all of her belongings inside of her pocket dimension, along with the few things Jingle owns.
