PERSONALITY

"Are you afraid, dear Astoria? If he knew what you did."

A naturally quiet and soft-spoken person, Astoria seldom initiates conversation. He keeps to himself and has learned not to expect much from others. Despite his gentle and seemingly hesitate demeanor, Astoria is not one to waver in combat. Firm and relentless, Astoria's sharp focus allows him to flourish in combat, never backing down and always full of aggression even if he, himself has never liked shedding blood. 

After certain events, Astoria began to seemingly ice over. Losing his gentleness, becoming more cold and much more merciless. Never talking unless it concerns his duties, and ending conversations before they even begin if they do not concern his tasks. 

BACKGROUND

"I would never hurt you...I-we're the same, Moya. I'll never leave you, and you'll never leave me."

Astoria hailed from a small village and was hand-picked to be brought into the city when one of the warriors noticed his gift. Soon enough, Astoria become one of the youngest to join the elite force. However, due to certain events (wip), he was eventually banished.

Settling in a cave, Astoria rarely ventured out, except to find food, but as people began to settle, knowledge of him became more known. At first, they tried to hunt him, and Astoria even became a prize of some sort, but, in the end, no one succeeded.  As time went on, his area became forbidden, with the residents realizing that as long as no one ventured there, Astoria would not hurt them, of course, that did not stop the occasional unfortunate hunter.

His life began to change when a small child was thrown into his cave. Despite, almost killing the child, Moya in the beginning, the two grew close quick, with Moya getting Astoria to open up and "dragging" him out of the cave to play (LEL). They became playmates of sorts. Yet, the time they spent together was all too short as Moya was soon murdered, causing Astoria to go on a rampage.

Moya

A child that befriended him when Moya was thrown into the cave. Astoria quickly became attached to child and became extremely protective of him, possibly to the point of obsession. While he would not obsess over the child per say, but he would often tell Moya that he could help him, which the child would always object to and tell them that they were the same, that they would always be together. Astoria was the one who permanently caused one of Moya's eyes to go blind. After many years, through a deal with Viserys, Moya was reborn as a scarftail. His reluctance to mentor Moya caused a rift between them, which grew after a few slip ups from Astoria about Moya's past. Although Moya's questions were never really answered, their relationship eventually mended after Astoria gave in to mentoring Moya.
