FAMILY

Pavlova and his sister, Merengue Cookie, were raised by perfectionists in a high-class home. Being the older of the two, Pav was the main subject of their expectations, most of which were unreasonably high. He was often not able to properly express himself, as he was often shut down in favor of "more important business." Eventually, Pavlova became bitter and cold, building up walls and forcefully pushing away those who tried to bring them down. He found comfort in art, and would often isolate himself to paint for hours on end.

SUSPICIONS

In order to eventually leave, Pavlova had to sustain himself. He began to sell some of his works and take commissions from willing customers. He got the attention of some wealthy curators, and managed to make enough to leave with his sister and live a decent life, just as he had promised her long ago. However, as more time passed, he noticed something very…suspicious. His parents suddenly took interest in his work, giving their praises to him and being…kind. While it was refreshing at first, he didn’t trust them one bit.

BROKEN PROMISES

After months of suspicions, Pavlova decided to investigate. He searched his room for anything that was missing…and sure enough, he quickly found out the truth: his parents had been stealing a large share of his profits, alongside some of his paintings to make some extra cash. This discovery made him furious, and he immediately went to confront them about it. Things quickly escalated, and it turned into a fight with how Pavlova snapped at them. In a fit of rage, he stormed off, gathering all he could and running away from his home, never to return. This was when Dark Enchantress found him, offering a wealthy sum to join her cause…
