Alastair is a sweet, happy-go-lucky Yumi-Pop that works diligently as a matchmaker. He truly does believe in true love, and believes it is his purpose to help others find it... especially those who don't believe in it. He is actually very successful at what he does, earning the nickname "Cupid" from many of his clients. Or, past clients, to be more accurate. Alastair has the highest marriage/success rate of all the matchmakers in Limbo AND on earth. It was almost like he was born to be the messenger of love.
He finds joy in the small things and always makes sure to take time to "stop and smell the roses". He is a genuinely sweet Yumi-Pop that likes everyone and treats even strangers as family. However, he can be a little too sweet, and doesn't know when others dislike *him*. As endearing as it is annoying, Alastair has successfully captured the hearts of many a Yumi-Pop.
Many know-but a few may not know-that Alastair is trans. He is very proud of this fact, and purposely doesn't wear a shirt to show off his top surgery scars. He loves his body exactly the way it is and is totally comfortable in his own skin, believing that every chromosome, mark, scar, and change is exactly as it was meant to be. He is a huge LGBTQ+ advocate, and is the trans father nobody knew they needed, especially showing kindness, support, and love to the new baby members of the group who need a little more encouragement.
Alistair can also be a very hyper Yumi-Pop. He has an non-literal addiction to sugar and can almost always be found munching or sucking on some type of candy or another. This makes him very good at his job and his health can take it as he has a VERY active metabolism. His partner typically forces him to keep a relatively healthy, balanced meal plan, but that doesn't mean he likes it... or doesn't constantly sneak junk food snacks when they're not around.
Design
• Always has some sort of body paint/stickers decorating his nose and cheeks.
• The bandage on his nose isn't only for the aesthetic-he has a small, almost heart-shaped scar along the bridge of his nose.
• He is always barefoot. No exceptions.
• The flames on his Keeper are NOT actual flames-it is just a wave design.
• His horns and tail are made out of rubber, and his wings and tail tip are bone.
• He has two simple earrings in his left rabbit ear. These can NOT be forgotten, moved, or changed as they were an anniversary gift from his beloved partner.

Weapon
Alastair uses a staff with a pink glowing gem at the top. It is made out of very old, solid oak wood, and the stone is rose quartz. Alastair is very much a lover, not a fighter, so he specializes in healing and support spells. His ranged attacks are very weak and not very accurate at all, but his healing spells never fail from any range. Support spells can vary depending on the circumstances.

BACKSTORY
Alastair is a sweet, happy, excitable Yumi-Pop who has an unlimited amount of love to give. Love, and energy. He lived a good life, and lives a good afterlife, and has devoted both to helping others. The main way he does this is through his matchmaking business, but he also lhappily ends a helping hand to whoever is in need and talks to everyone, including the outcasts and the misunderstood.
Pre-Limbo
Alastair lived a very quaint and content human life before his Rebirth. He knew he was trans at a very early age. His parents never quite understood, but they loved him just the same. He was an average student, earning A's and B's his entire schooling career, and ended up marrying his highschool sweetheart the day after they graduated from college. That was when he knew he had a talent for finding true love. If he was able to find his wife of what would come to be 53 years way back in high school, perhaps he could help others do the same? He, with the help of his loving wife, built his matchmaking office up from the ground. He eventually became quite well known because he did indeed have a talent for pairing up compatible lovers. He happily worked there 5 days a week, earning a comfortable life for him, his wife, and their 5 adopted children. However, good things weren't to last. One Valentine's Day, at the ripe old age of 76, Alastair passed away peacefully in his sleep from a heart attack, laying next to the woman he would continue to love for the rest of his afterlife.
Current Day
Alastair is now living his new life as a Yumi-Pop as best as he can. He continued to use his matchmaking abilities for good and set up the first matchmaking office in Limbo. He has since helped many Yumis find love after life when many of them believed it was impossible. Because he led such a successful, happy, and humble life, the Goddess Yumi gave him the gift of reincarnating him at a younger age so he could live his afterlife in his prime. He still refuses to tell anyone at which age the Goddess reincarnated him at. Some suspect this is because he probably doesn't even know himself, but he refuses to tell just the same. His long-time wife was reincarnated as a Yumi-Pop and the two found each other in Limbo and plan to live happily ever after. HOWEVER! Neither of them realize it! They can both be a bit naive and "head in the clouds". They never talked about the past because they are too focused on the "now". When, oh when, will these star-crossed lovers realize who the other is?
Trivia
- He is very much into decora.
- He officially identifies as pansexual, but demisexual panromantic would describe him much more accurately.
- The rubber that his tail is made of is actually very squishy and comfortable. If there ever is nowhere to sit(or if there is and it's uncomfortable), Alastair will coil up his tail and sit on/in that instead. It's like a portable bean bag! It also tastes vaguely like bubble gum. Don't ask him how he knows this.
- His favorite animals are frogs and baby ducks.
Relationships
Terminus - Best Friend
Alastair and Terminus are just two peas in a pod! They get along extremely well and always make each other laugh. Terminus was Alastair's first friend after he was Rebirthed as a Yumi-Pop, so the two have a lot of history... and with history comes inside jokes! However, because Terminus is almost always working on the ghost train, the two very rarely have time to just hang out. Because of this, Alastair takes the train even when he doesn't need to just to talk to his friend. He's forever grateful that he randomly stepped on the train his first day as a Yumi and treasures his friendship with Terminus.
