A master of deception, Shuten was born on an island in the middle of the sea; a little fishing village which he despised only because of its isolation and a fishing focus. Shuten had a greater interest in criminal activity, purely for the skill involved and the rewards. It was, allegedly, Shuten who pushed Hyacinthus into the ocean, and who attempted to destroy the journal as well. Shuten would leave the island, going to the mainland to further study the art of thievery.
