Drake was born and raised in Loreua, particularly Revival City. (A name which he questions.) He lives with his father, mother, uncle, and cousin. Drake is very close with his family, even considering his older cousin to be his best friend. The two are practically inseperable when they aren't working. In particular, Drake is studying to become an architect. Through this endeavor, he means to better the lives of his loved ones, as well as be the first in years to build a sustainable structure above the underground cities of their homeland.

However, as he was about to enter college, his life took a drastic turn. He met Frostbite, a bizarre monster of a creature as far as he was concerned. Well, she would've been a monster if Drake hadn't accidentally used a mysterious book to transform her into a miniature, human-speaking version of herself. Magic was something Drake had never considered real. Even still, he's looking into what really happened to this day. Nevertheless, Drake and his cousin essentially had themselves a new pet. A highly destructive pet who had a lot to learn.

Over time, Drake and his family eventually learned that Frostbite was from another world and wanted to go home. Thus, wanting to get back to his studies, Drake poured his focus into helping Frostbite get back to her world. He hoped and prayed that things would be simple... But something in him knew how flawed that logic was.
No, he was almost certain, things were about to get much more complicated.
