Mercer was never liked because of his looks even at a young age. His parents never wanted a four armed son, he was called a disgrace and a mistake. As he grew so did his anger but one day his parents had enough of a freak child, his father toar one of his hands off and his mother shot him in the eye and closed up the wound by burning it shut. They sent him off to live on his own, he was around 6 years old and had no life skills, nothing. He would steal for food from the shops to feed himself but the shopkeepers didn’t like that he had to steal so they would leave food out on a little shelf outside of one of the stores, as thanks he would go out and pick the most beautifull flowers he could find and put them on the shelf.

A guy who worked as a scientist’s assistant saw mercer run away one day and noticed he was missing an arm, so he chased mercer Around. Once mercer was finally caught they had to tranquilize him so he wouldn’t run again. When mercer woke up he didn’t know what was happening, he was afraid of what would happen to him. But when he saw the inside of the lab he was fascinated, he grew up on the streets for about six years (he’s 12 now) and he noticed that the streets where nothing compared to the room he was in. The scientist mesured his arm to make him a mechanical that would match his other arms. As he grew he Moved out and became more self conscious as he started to wear a Hoodie and pants a tank tops and shorts to work out instead of the raggs that he used to wear.

He worked at a bakery and a bar, as a baker by day and a bartender by night. He was one of the best bakers in town, people would order his cakes from all over. His assistant was a kind young lady and they where verry close, they would go everywhere together. He seemed to be drawn to her but when he dropped her off at her house one night, he saw a man waiting for her outside and he realized she already had someone as he saw them hug and kiss eachother. He started drinking and smoking and even tho he tries his best to stop he just can’t , after that he started to occasionally slack off on baking and bartending. No one payed attention to it though as he continued to drink, the only thing that would bring him joy would be the kids that enter the bakery. Some would even bring him stickers to put of his prosthetic arm, he would find it adorable when they did it. Some hero’s that entered the bakery would leave him big tips with a sticker of their logo and leave little messages on how well the service and the pastries where.
