Gwyllis quiet * bright * tender

“Normal is not something to aspire to, it’s something to get away from.”
-Jodie Foster

“I can never read all the books I want; I can never be all the people I want and live all the lives I want. I can never train myself in all the skills I want. And why do I want? I want to live and feel all the shades, tones and variations of mental and physical experience possible in my life. And I am horribly limited.”
-Sylvia Plath

About

Gwyllis is the younger brother to Lludw, and his name means twilight, dusk, gloom.  His parents are Yulia and Mekwi.

He and Lludw are 20 months apart and get along well.  Lludw helped him feel more comfortable starting highschool.

Gwyllis is actually a dragon / deer-pegasus hybrid, but passes as a dragon with ease.

Gwyllis is a Freshman (2021 - 2022) at Kennett High School and enjoys photography, language and literature, and his science classes.

He has struggled with self confidence and has though he has a few good friends, he's never been part of any 'in' groups in school.

He likely has ADHD, but has not yet been diagnosed.  His favorite color is a dark forest green, and generally really loves rich earthy colors.  He loves autumn, golden hour through twilight into the star-laden night.  He is not a particularly picky eater but unashamedly loves peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with Fritos as his favorite food.

He is an MBTI INTJ.

Thus far his absolute most favorite class this year is Introduction to Photography taught by Mr. Sinclair.

Gwyllis got his first camera when he was seven and loved snapping pictures of daily life and anything that struck him as interesting.  His parents have encouraged him over the years, sensing a nascent talent in him and seeing his joy in his pictures.

For this class his parents got him an old Nikon FM2, shooting film and graduating from the world of 'point and shoot' cameras to his first SLR.

He has really taken to his teacher and has loved learning to work with film and in the darkroom.
