She's a mom friend who left her home for the adventure she had to be put on hold because she had to raise her little sibling after their dad was presumed dead and their mom abandoned them. Her sibling just left home and she's dealing with empty nest syndrome by going on an adventure. But during the adventure, she almost dies and something offered her the chance to live and get to see her loved ones again.
