Su (read: soo) is not his actual name, just a current name he picked for himself on a whim. He cannot remember anything about his past and constantly forgets faces and names. Time also does not flow normally for him, and it's possible for him to just blip out of existence for short moments randomly. It's unpleasant and painful, but the forgetfulness helps slightly.
He used to be a deity of the moon who fell in love with the deity of the sun who he could not be together with because of their duties. Blinded by obsession, he killed the god that watched over the movement of time so they could be together.
The result of the explosion after killing the said time god left his body messed up - he became a vessel that no longer aligned formerly with time. This became a sort of punishment for him on top of getting stripped of all power and exiled by the upper gods.
On his painful way down to earth, a certain god felt pity on him and granted him amnesia to forget the one he was infatuated with.
The sun deity he fell in love with was also punished and forced to leave his seat, and is now a lower deity.
