Background
At one time, Alzion was known as a man named Pristil Noxardri. Having grown with an interest in the combination of the natural sciences of the world and magic, he delved deeply in research regarding the two and became an experienced sorcerer, continuing his research and taking up teaching as a profession, even becoming a private teacher to the children of nobles that took interest in his work.

However, following the Shadow Invasion, as the Loyalist threat continued to escalate, the professor, alongside Daniel Ijokish, was confronted by Count Stellam and comrade of his: a foreign warrior that went by the name of Aethelnoth. To him, they offered the chance to join them in preparing an secret force to defend the realm from the Loyalists, an offer he refused. This, along with the mysterious disappearance of the Norwich family, ultimately led to his demise at the hands of an criminal organization known as the Monarchy of Hearts. However, his final death was prevented- by good or bad luck -under the hand of the sorceress wraith, Rah'lemtoth.

Upon being delivered a potion (its own origins as dubious as the wraith), he was saved from the clutches of death and awoke as a new being. One who was slowly in the process of transforming from a human to a Demon. One who took upon the name Alzion Irdraxon. Following Alzion's creation, he worked for the Ministry under Rah as an assassin.

But then came a time of ever greater chaos. A great new evil emerged from deep beneath the kingdom in the form of a great and vile dragon: Thorodan, The Vile One. His arrival tore asunder whatever power the Ministry of Truth had established over the land. Taking advantage of the opportunity, Hyrule's forces surged forth to expel the cult once and for all. In the flurry of events leading to the Ministry's downfall, Alzion joined the Lady Dominica Tyranea in a defection against the organization and the two allied themselves with Hyrule's forces.

Hyrule's victory was short-lived, however. As the conflict drew to a close, Thorodan descended upon the kingdom. Battered by the battles they had undergone, the kingdom could do little but agree to the dragon's demands and retreat from the lands. Though a victory had been obtained, it had not been without cost and the loss to their newfound foe, the kingdom's people began to lose faith. It was in this dark time that new factions splintered from the kingdom, born in Hyrule's ashes, and one such faction included the Lunar Crusade.

The Lunar Crusade was founded by Dominicia– who thus became its most imperious leader –as well as her two close companions: Aethelnoth and Alzion. It was within the Crusade that Alzion truly flourished. Together, he and Aethelnoth each served Dominicia as the Crusade's Chosen– with the warrior as her right hand general and Alzion as her personal agent, carrying out messier tasks on her behalf. From the time of the Crusade's formation, the factions numbers continued to swell as newer vital members joined their ranks: Hildrimfel, a Hyrulean veteran; Rhayne, the alchemist; and Eneres, Aethelnoth's apprentice. Then along came a rogue sorcerer, Hugin, who– in his interest fashioned from the Crusade's chaos –thrust himself among their most notable.

Though the Crusade stood as militant faction, it primarily attempted to hold a neutral ground in the

Personality Notes
Stoic, cold, calculating, direct. Alzion may come off as robotic, brusque, and apathetic, typically hiding most of his more extreme reactions and emotions and only sharing them with those he's very close to. In public, his expression is generally very neutral with only the smallest shifts; at most, he may give very small smiles or frowns or give the smallest of snorts or laughs. Occasionally, he will make a friendly teasing joke at the expense of others, but is otherwise very polite to everyone, whether they are his enemy or his friend. His language isn't necessarily flowery, but it is eloquent. As he was once a researcher of both sciences and magics, he is rather knowledgeable and can seem pretty nerdy at times.

Skill Set
A professor in life, Alzion carries vast knowledge in his mind, leaving it to act as his own 'library.' This library ranges from knowledge of geography across the lands, expanding even beyond the borders of Hyrule, to expansive knowledge of history down to even more obscure historical events, to deep understanding of nature and magic and how they interact with one another. And it is thus as such a scholar that Alzion serves as the Intellect of the Lunar Crusade's Chosen.

Alongside being a scholar, he is considerably skilled in magic. Through it, he is able to commune with nature for considerably versatile, albeit very slow, magics. As such, without extensive time to work these magics, they are useless within battle as they cannot be so quickly prepared and initiated. Examples of how he may interact with nature in this manner would be to convince wood (or stone or other materials) to let him freely pass through them to walk through walls, communicate nonverbally with animals or objects, or convince the air to become solid as if to walk upon it. These listed examples are exactly that, however, and his magic is most limited by his energy and imagination.

There are, however, certain spells that Alzion set up so that he can cast them in a moment's notice. Through these, he can create an unseen wards– useful for both defense as a shield and offense as a hidden blade. He can furthermore create illusions and artificial points of light, which he can brighten to blinding levels. Furthermore, he may use his magic to heal others, although the amount of energy he would expend would be heavily reliant on how grievous a wound might be and would always require a certain amount of his own blood. Lastly, he may drain the energy of living beings in order to restore his own, damaging their spirit– an ability inherent to his own identity as the Demonic being that he is, as it is through this that he sustains himself.

In all cases, his magic relies on his energy and how much that he may use through his magic would vary based upon the complexity, power, and other varying factors of the spells.

Though he carries no weapons on-hand, he has several years of basic weapon experience under his belt. He his far from the most experienced weapon user and is most effective as a magic user, but were he to wield one, he would at least be able to do so with a level of competency.
