When Ailin was admitted as an intern to work at NATO Science and Technology Labratories, they were elated. This had been their dream since childhood, and they were not about to ruin it. Everyone had always said they were too smart for their own good.
12 years later, their project has gone too far. Fueled with blood, sweat, tears and a mystery ingredient, Ailin has gained powers and insanity. The government officials want to stop their project, but it's too late. Ailin is bend on revenge and power, and won't be letting it go.
Their parents never cared.
But Saito, the friendly intern that followed Ailin around like a lost puppy, does. Maybe too much, but that's besides the point. If the old Ailin could aviod their affection, the new Ailin could certainly manipulate their only friend.
Maybe a redemption arc is in their future. Who knows. It might just be too bloody.
