Seems aloof and cold at first but in reality isn't very good at socialising and can be a bit of a klutz. Slightly obscured vision in his green eye. Really loves (shiny) rocks but in a way that's different to how the Geo archon appreciates them. Is able to breathe underwater for long periods of time - longest time being two hours but he was quite tired afterwards as it uses up his 'mana'.
Will sometimes float along rivers trying to look for rocks. Often is mistaken for a dead, drifting body and scares people who aren't familiar with his antics. They'll try to save him but he simply turns upright and gives them a smile, saying he was just searching for something along the river bed.

Grew up in Sumeru. Might have come from another long lost land.... he initially was a high ranking academic at Sumeru Academy but decided that it was too stressful so he left to wander the lands. Comfortably settled in Fontaine, the land of hydro, where he bought a small cottage on the outskirts of the city. He sold some of his gold jewellery that he'd forged when he was younger.
When travelling throughout Inazuma several years ago, he stayed on Watatsumi Island and became well acquainted with the villagers. Liked to visit the old shrine and met a strange pearlescent loach (axolotl) there that took a liking to him. The loach decided to follow him and [the magician] conjured up a water bubble for the loach to comfortably float around within.
