Axel is an angry bug with a strong personality and little space for smiles. Only soft on the outside he has a pepper personality causing him to be pretty terrifying due to his size and nature, however under that thick layer of boiling lava hides a very self-conscious spider that only asks to be loved for who he is.
Once he opened up he turns out to be a cuddly type, with all his fur and paws he indeed looks like a giant plush and is a bliss to hug and nuzzle. He loves candies and most things containing or made with sugar and the fastest path to his heart is through his stomach. He also turns out to be a very loyal and protective type with who has earned his trust.

- He is venomous and even though his bite is not deadly, it can cause severe damages to the nervous system if not treated rapidly. Better yet, don't get bitten.
- He has a berserk form like all Monster Chows but he only reveals it when pushed out of his limit.
- He spends a lot of time in his human form because hanging out with humans helps him feel "normal".
- Due to his size he prefers to not hang out too close to children or babies.
- His eight legs are NOT optional. They must all be there in order for the design to be respected, if you don't want to draw them all you can always hide them somewhere.
- His mouth is full of fangs, he always has his two little poison fangs sticking out.
- He has a forked tongue.
- The piercings present on his human form are NOT present on his spirit form.
- His claws are retractable, however they are too long to be completely hidden in the paw, they can simply become longer.
