An angel who despite all the adversity, rose to the top.
And he'll do whatever it takes for it to stay that way, regardless of all the skeletons in his closet piling up.
PERSONALITY
He is a very closed off individual who believes that if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself.
Loyal to a fault, he will give all of himself in the name of Heaven's progress, as he believes that he has nothing left to lose anymore. His self worth is as abysmal as his people skills, some consider it a miracle that he even has someone to call a friend.
I
In the beginning, Eden did not have a name of his own yet. Freshly molded from clay, he was built to serve those above him, a "maintenance" angel. His model line was considered defective and was issued to be terminated; before they could get to him, a seraph vouched for him. Her name was Minerva, and she continued to care for him for as long as she could. He later grew old enough to be a patrol angel, that's how he met Isaac. He was introduced to a whole new perspective on life after that, viewing humans as more than just a nuisance. He began to open up and experience life as a child, not a soldier, beginning to enjoy life and do things for himself.
That was short-lived however, as his fraternization amongst humans was not ignored. He was promptly recalled and surveilance on the kingdom he patrolled was increased, as sabotage from the monarchs was expected.
II
Tensions were kept high between Deourm and Heaven which lead to some strain between Eden and Isaac's friendhsip, as he was revealed to be royalty. They both tried to be there for eachother during those turbulent times despite all the responsibilities and work dumped on the both of them. Eventually, they stopped seeing eachother altogether, as Eden became more absorbed into his duties. Malikna, another Seraph, decided to take him under her wing in the meantime. Under her tutelage, Eden felt more pressured to outpreform all other angels, as she made him believe he has not worthy of living. A few years later, word gets out of Hell's raid on Deorum, Eden finding himself at a crossroads; to remain in heaven or help his friends. Regardless of his choice, he was unable to save them on his own, and he carries that weight with him to this day.
III
More time passes and Eden keeps drowning himself in his work, climbing up to the rank of soldier. During a mission, he finds out that Isaac did infact survive the attack on Deorum and end up reconnecting. He learns that Isaac's mentorship under Ada has payed off, as he has now become a celestial just like him. Eden couldn't have been more happy to hear it, finally happy that Isaac would be part of the great plan to expand the Kingdom of Heaven. He was sorely mistaken though, as he eventually learned that Isaac did not want anything to do with Heaven's glory. This upset Eden greatly and lead to the gap between them to grown larger. This was a betrayal to him, so much that in their next conflict led to Isaac's death.
Now there's nothing left to lose.
As much as Eden will deny it, she is his mother figure. She spends her days locked in her quarters waiting for him to visit her once more, it's rare to see him these days.
The most renown Seraphim in Heaven, she is the head of the council and is in charge of decision making in the Gods' stead, as she is their voice. She is swift in her judgemnts and punishments, as there is never room for mistakes.
