Talos is a gentle giant type character who, despite his massive size, tends to be on the shy and uncertain side. He's sheepish and well-intentioned, a sweet goobie if one can get past his intimidating presence. Other goobies often find him too terrifying to approach, a truth that makes him more somber than he'll admit. He tries not to let things bother him much, but he's quite sensitive and he feels things very deeply. In contrast to his sweet and loving personality, his tailmouth Telos is witty and sharp-tongued, a sassy and sarcastic personality who has a smart comment for any situation. Talos often calls Telos a jerk, though from Telos' perspective he's just standing up for them. When they were younger, Talos was often pushed around because he was so shy and unassuming, and it was Telos who warded them off with witty comebacks. The two rely on one another and are good friends, even if they sometimes don't see eye-to-eye or understand one another. Talos and Telos both bond over their mutual love for film and they enjoy having movie nights where they act as faux film critics. Talos can be encouraged to talk more if you get him on a subject that he's passionate about, where with Telos you'll have a hard time getting him to stop talking. Overall, they're pretty contrary personalities, but somehow, they work well as a good team.
