Backstory Everything here takes place after this!
Scotty was raised by Ms. Rosetta as though he was a human child. She had never had a Pokemon of her own, so she didn't know how to raise him. He spent his whole life (year) indoors and never once got to go outside. She felt very bad but was afraid of one of her ex-coworkers seeing him. Despite this, he was very happy. He had toys, his own bed and everything he needed. He loved Ms. Rosetta and often called her 'mom' or 'mama'. Unfortunately, one day Rose's labmates found her and she forced Scotty to leave, yelling at him to go. He was hurt, but he knew she was trying to keep him safe. He didn't know what to do and didn't think he could save her on his own, so he went out to find the one Pokemon he knew of; Mewtwo. He didn't know much about it other than that's where his DNA had come from. So he set off, terrified.
He manages to run into Mew early on and although he had heard of Mew; didn't know a thing about it. He asked Mew to help him but it constantly led him off his path to finding Mewtwo.
After an entire year of searching (and having Mew as a companion) he finally finds Mewtwo and before he could explain his situation, it attacked him, frightened. |
