General

Like many Kitsune, Tatari gains a new tail every 100 years of life. By her 1000th year she will become a celestial fox and ascend to the heavens. Currently she is powerful enough at 500 years old to have gained a small following as well as her own temple.

Tatari is most well known for the blessings she will grant travelers who visit and leave gifts at her temple. Blessings can come in many forms depending on the gift given and who the person is. Blessings can easily be things such as adoration by those around you, prosperity and good fortune.  While most come for her blessings, it's important to be aware that offending her in some way may result in her leaving a curse on you instead.  Curses usually have a twist she finds amusing such as the inability to turn right, say no to things you don't want, or her catch all if you've really gotten on her bad side -  the curse of bad luck.

This would unfortunately be placed on Drogo who stumbled upon her shrine with the intentions of using it as shelter from a storm. When asked for a gift in exchange for shelter all he could offer was himself, but did not negotiate the amount of time. When trying to leave the next day, Tatari saw this as disrespectful as she was not done playing with him, and thus cursed him with bad luck when he left.

She would pop in and out of Drogo's life randomly, often when he was in rather peculiar or embarrassing situations. Finding him entertaining she would occasionally help him out to continue the fun she was having watching him struggle. However she would get a taste of her own medicine when Motley would visit her shrine and trick her in a way that allowed him to steal her fox stone. This being her life force she would travel with Motley constantly trying to steal it back and escape. After many failed attempts she would later run across Drogo and request he steal the stone for her and in exchange would lift the curse of bad luck - seeing this as a greater gift to replace the one he took from her. 

Personality

Flirty, Sly, Mischievous, Prideful, Tatari does not hide her enjoyment of toying with people. Despite her untrustworthy nature, Tatari does have a sense of fairness and balance. For example if an orphaned poor child left her an apple as a gift she would bless them, for they gave what little they had. If a wealthy person left her the same gift she might instead curse them as they have everything and gave her very little.

Abilities

• Illusion and Shapeshifting magic, Tatari can make herself look like anyone and anything. She often uses this to trick people or to hide.

• Fox Fire. A  purple flame she can summon through her hands and even teeth. Is able to throw it by the handfuls.

• Omniscience and the ability to see and hear anything happening anywhere in the world. This is often how she knows when to check on Drogo and prevents him from falling into serious harm or death.

• Pocket Dimension. Her Shrine is a doorway to her own personal haven where she stores all her gifts.  

• Celestial Beast Form. Upon absorbing her fox stone and thus all it's power she turns into a giant beastly fox.

• The ability to bless and curse individuals, with specific things of her choosing. 

• Her fox stone, or orb, holds her magic and life force. If this is taken away her extra tails will disappear and her magic ability is greatly reduced. The holder of the stone will have the ability to access her magic for themselves. If the Fox Stone is crushed, Tatari will die.

• Rather androgynous in appearance and voice and will go by any pronouns.

• Feeds on souls and "lesser spirits" ghosts tend not to hang around her. 

• When unable to use magic, relies on a katana as a weapon.
