• Flames near the head may be any size, or nonexistant
• Eyes never open, if they do they are the same white as the moon
• They have power over water and tides, and water is attracted to them like a magnet, so their fur is often damp as it atttracts ambient nearby water in the air.

Falcate is a quiet and calm entity that is affiliated with the moon. It is ancient, possessing much wisdom about the world that it does seem to enjoy sharing with others, even though it only seems to enjoy the company of those who are also peaceful. While it tends not to openly speak, it's said if you are quiet around it you can hear its whispers on the wind around you. It is soothing and brings tranquility to those it meets.

It has little desire to engage with violence or chaos, and things that are noisy or disruptive or a threat will quickly scare it off. it seeks only peace and has zero ability or desire to cause harm to anyone no matter the circumstance.

It is especially skittish around humans and those who may have malicious intent. Earning it's trust is hard won but worthwhile for a few minutes of nirvana that comes with complete peace and momentary freedom from anxiety or strife. 

In it's original life, Falcate was a feline who, in a stroke of bad luck and malice, was killed by neglectful owners who left it to drown in a river. Seeing this, and feeling pity, the gods decided to bestow it a new life as a moon spirit, so that it may run forever freely across the world- and see all the many things that it could not in its own life.

it is a humble and simple follower of the moon, that darts through the night across the lands, helping to ensure that the tides move as they should and that the soft rains of morning dew fall upon the earth. If it finds company that it likes, it may stay for a day, and pass by come the next night. While its job is not mandatory to the world, it finds solace in its simple purpose and adores seeing the various sights of all the world.

It does not remember its origins- nor has ever really searched for them. As far as it's concerned, that life is irrelevant to what it's become
