“Torinoko” means “Forgotten” and Velveteen is ripped straight from the story of The Velveteen rabbit, just misspelt.
Torinoko was a stuffed rabbit who possessed her own ex-owners body out of revenge for abandoning her as she got older and had begun to think it was too childish to keep stuffed animals or toys. Tori now owns the body even as it slowly decays and zombifies as she uses it to experience life “as a human”. Like streaming and drawing artwork and making friends.
She replaced and frequently replaces several pieces of skin with cloth from other stuffed toys, including from her own old stuffed rabbit body. The ears on her head are also unmoving and are sewn into the scalp.
