Profile

About the world they inhabit:

Amber lives in a fairly mundane world, much like our own. The only real difference is that there's anthropomorphic animal people inhabiting it instead of humans. Regular animals exist too, but you shouldn't think too hard about the logistics of it.

(All drawings depicting her being violent/being hurt are vent drawings that do not reflect her actual behavior or world.)

Personality:

Lions are known for their strengths. They are proud, courageous leaders with a strong social circle (or "pride"). Amber is the antithesis of what a lion is. She has no pride. She has a complete lack of self-esteem and has no group she can fit into. She's physically weak, cowardly, and lazy.

She can be aloof, especially in large places or social settings, but she can also be friendly and polite (albeit awkwardly). Once you actually get to know her, her true lion starts to shine, as she can be extremely supportive and will do her best to protect you, valuing your safety. Despite this, she can be fickle and inconsistent with her affection, friend or not.

Amber does not like to be touched. She'll flinch if you try to do so. She is also sensitive to loud noises, finding crowded and noisy spaces unappealing. She enjoys the outdoors but spends a majority of her time doing at-home activities, such as playing video games, sewing, or drawing. Amber's behavior resembles that of a domesticated house cat more than anything, which got her made fun of in her adolescence.

She's easily irritated and hurt. So, if provoked enough, she may go from quiet and distant to passive-aggressive or downright aggressive. Those who are insensitive do not match well with Amber.
