Osirius the Hidden Child

Background: As the old saying goes, love finds a way. Osirius is the offspring of a demon prince and an archangel who’s love was forbidden. If his existence was discovered both would be imprisoned and their child would most certainly be executed. In their desperation to hide him they made a decision. Maybe it was cruel, maybe it was selfish, maybe it was just two desperate parents trying to save their child at their wits end. For the first few years his parents were able to keep him hidden but as he grew they realized that it as becoming impossible due to his power.  He was sealed within an “egg” that would hide his presence. While inside it reverted him to his initial stages to insure his power once again became dormant. That egg was taken by his parents to a place between places, the void. The void is a realm that is removed from reality. It is a realm that is filled with the faint light of dusk but one is simply floating in a vast emptiness. It completely hides anything or anyone within it from detection however accessing it does draw attention. They knew that once he was there they would never be able to return. As one final precaution a seal was placed on the egg that would keep him there. Besides his forbidden existence they knew that he was different. Their two bloodlines mixing created an extremely powerful being. A being that would be highly sought after due to the prophecy. “The purest of light and deepest of darkness will combine to create a new hue. This hue will inevitably be brought to the mortal realm. Once there it will either bathe the world in darkness or in light for it is a fragile being constantly at war with itself”. With a final word they sealed him away in the void leaving him alone for they could not risk his discovery. The seal could only be broken if both parents were present or under a unique condition. This condition had to be fulfilled by a mortal in need. This could not just be any person that needed help but one of pure heart and great potential. Once they cry out their voice will echo to the void where Osirius will awaken and respond to their cries.  While in the void Osirius is in a constant state of light sedation. He is not awake and yet he is also not asleep. He is aware and unaware of his surroundings. Over the centuries he would grow and mature going through his various forms again but the only thing he would come to know is the void. With no interaction with other beings he was slowly filled with a deep loneliness that eventually even pierced through his sedation. There was no one else to talk to, nothing to look at or interact with. Only the faint dusky light that filled the void. Finally after 4000 years Osirius heard a whisper but he couldn’t make out what it said. Than it came again and again get louder and louder until he heard it “Someone…….. Please HELP ME!”. With that the seal unlocked, Osirius awoke, creating a rift to the mortal world. Upon arrival he stood before three people in a forest. The sun was eclipsed and the wind had completely stopped blowing. An older woman on the ground injured, a teenage girl crying over her and a drunken man holding a club. The man was understandably confused and terrified of the being standing before him. Osirius approached the girl telling her “I heard your cry for help”. She said nothing as she was also scared of him. The drunken man decided to approach the girl in his drunken rage and swing again but what was quickly lifted up by his arm. “shall I kill him?” he asked. “Help…..Help my mother” the girl replied. Osirius tossed the drunken man aside and turned towards the girls mother. Osirius has the ability to heal others from his mother however it’ a lower level healing that takes much longer. After healing the mother the girl realized that Osirius was there to help her and thus began their relationship as the sun once again shone. The girl was named Sileena and she was currently studying in a magic academy in the kingdom of Ingrassia (Slime tensei) that specialized in summoner magic. She was having little success until Osirius showed up that is. Osirius was her summon. Naturally she had no idea what or who he was and honestly he didn’t know to much about himself either considering he was sealed away for his entire life. He was following her to and from school. Obviously this would pose an issue so he was rendering himself undetectable to most. Only high level magic users and other greater magical beings can detect his presence. Eventually they realized they decided that she couldn’t use him because it would be extremely suspicious as to how she summoned a being of his caliber so he helped her practice and now she can summon better monsters. Instead of walking around in his base form he usually is in his compact feral form when with her. This way he looks like a pet or familiar. He can also teleport directly to her and can hear her call his name from anywhere. He’s also has picked up a job in a popular tavern but he disguises his base form so he looks like a semi-normal beast person although he still gets occasional odd looks. It basically gets Sileen extra money and stops Osirius from being bored. If anyone ever asks why he hangs around with Sileen their agreed upon answer is that he’s her uncle (not related by blood of course). Sometimes he’s with her and other times he’s off on his own. If she does ever need him she can call his name and he will come in an instant. The pair are also actively trying to avoid the church as they are demon hunters

Personality: Osirius socially awkward but also very curious, as he is unaware of many things in the human world. Since he’s been isolated for so long having someone to talk to is odd to him. He often asks Saleen various questions about everything around them. Since the human world is foreign to him he doesn’t really pick up on social ques, jokes or references.  When he’s working at the tavern he generally keeps to himself and gives quick and concise answers. If he’s ever questioned about his life he tries to make up a good answer or dodges the question completely since he really has no true answer. He mostly moves around kegs and gets other heavy objects from the back. He also helps the cook with cleaning up and organization in the kitchen. Interestingly enough he’s taken a liking to watching her cook and learning about it in general.  

Abilities:

Form Shifting-Osirius is able to change his form based on the situation. 

Feral Form: His first form is his compact feral form. This is the form he’s generally in when he’s with Sileena at her school. This form is also assumed when he’s low on energy and needs to recharge. While much smaller he’s still quite strong. He can easily send a large person flying with a kick. Although in this form he cannot use most of his abilities. He can use telepathy, some pyrokinesis and his hypnotic stare. He does not like to be treated as a pet while in this form. Saleena missed this memo or probably just chooses to ignore it.

Base Form: This the form Oserius spends most of his time in. This is his most versatile form that he has. He has access to all of his magic abilities. This is also the form he disguises to appear as a normal caprin beastman when he’s at the tavern. In his disguised form he’s wearing standard clothing and his demon horns aren’t present. His flame, wing and markings are also concealed. His tail turns into a long cow tail. His horn and hoofs also lose their red accents.

Strength Form: This form is much larger and is used when Osirius needs raw physical power. The form does have access to magic but he prefers to use this form to outmuscle opponents. This is also his most durable form.                                            

Ascended form: In this form Osirius is at his most powerful. He has ascended to his divine form and gained access to divine and holy magic in addition to his demonic powers. This form can only be achieved when osirius has truly decided to fight for good.

Background:      Osirius was an average every day person just living his life from day to day. He was generally a nice person and enjoyed hanging out with his friends. In all honesty he generally felt pretty lonely and struggled with it but his friends and family were what kept him level. The one fatal flaw that he had was a “bleeding heart”. Sometimes it’s good to be able to empathize but it should slowly cause you to destroy your own life to help others. Osirius let it get worse and worse until eventually he was left with nothing. He fell into a deep depression until finally he ended up deciding he was going to end it.  

As his soul traveled down it was snatched up by an unknown demon lord. They wanted to “experiment” with his soul and attempted to convert it into a demonic soul. The process was excruciating but theoretically it was successful. He did turn into a chimeric demon but he retained the soul of a human and even had some angle spliced in, but this doesn't manifest very often. It’s unknown which lord did this to him. He awoke in hell in his new body, with faint memories of his human life. In addition to his new form, he was also gifted with surprisingly powerful pyrokinetic abilities as well as the ability to shift into a much larger demonic beast form. After a few days he found a job in devils creamery which is a famous bakery in hell. They had become known for their devil tear raspberry pastry. He actually got pretty good at baking thanks this boss, Le Creox. Despite being a very aggressive and murderous person, he was the real deal and actually enjoyed teaching others the proper way to bake. Osirius also enjoyed the fact that he had full permission to deck rowdy customers which made the job that much better. Since he worked at a popular location he’s run into the helluva boss crew plenty of times in the morning as well as Charlie and stolas. Surprisingly  blitzo loves the way he makes his coffee. Working at the bakery has taught him some excellent baking skills and he’s also gotten pretty good at making coffee.  The one person that he’s not to keen on is Allistor. His chummy demeanor is a clear front and he doesn’t trust him. Allistor seems to be aware of his hidden potential as well as the meaning of the markings on his legs. He also does boxing training at a gym that has underground boxing matches which he does occasionally participate in. He is currently 20-0 with customer fights and 10-3 in his underground matches.

                He has the appearance of tall well built black chimeric demon with a set of curled horns coming from the back of his head and two small demon horns on his forehead. He also has a snake tail which seems to have a mind of it’s own but it does seem to obey him most of the time. He often fights with it because it’s generally annoying him or it tries toto steal his food.  He also has one red and black angelic wing. Osirius is a pretty quite individual that generally keeps to himself. He talks to very few people. Despite his calm and quite demeaner he does have an explosive temper when he’s triggered.  If you do happen to bring up anything that has to do with space his interest will be peaked. Most of the time he just spends his time chilling on his couch, staring at the sky or doing pushups. He tries to keep his head down and not attract any extra attention to himself, although it turns out this is somewhat difficult. He’s been granted insanely powerful pyrokinetic powers which he tries to hide. The “pilot Flame” appears over his head whenever he is using this ability. His ability to transform into a large beast like demon seems to be linked to his anger. If he completely loses it he will transform.

Abilities/Powers:

High level pyrokinesis: Osirius is capable of using high level pyrokinetic abilities such as fireballs, fire blasts, and flame dispersion. Whenever he uses this ability his “pilot flame” begins burning above his head.   

Gliding/Short Flight: Osirius is able to fly short distances or glide far distances with his singular wing. He is not capable of advanced maneuvers.

Angel Wing: Osirius has a singular angel wing sprouting from his back. Besides flight this wing is also a shield. Even though its feathers are soft they can be stiffened and used as a shield or sword. This wing is also incredibly durable and is even strong enough to resist large explosions and demon magic. His true angelic wing (Which rarely appears along with his halo) also can heal others.

Prehensile Snake tail: Osirius has a black snake tail sprouting from his lower back. It seems to have a mind of it’s own but it does generally obey him. It act’s as a second pair of eyes with thermal sensing and visions and is also prehensile so he can use it to grab objects or enemies. It also produces a paralytic venom which he can use to disable people. They are left unable to move for 1 hour.

Venom/Poison Immunity: His snake tail being venomous seems to have granted him immunity to venoms and poisons

Demon Nephilim Form: This form seems to be linked with the marks on his leg and his emotions. When he gets pissed off, the marks on his legs begin glowing and he transforms into a large demonic chimera beast with insane physical strength and power
