Mountain Helioptile/Heliolisk

Found in the Ultra Space Wilds Rocky World, this variant of the Helioptile are much shyer than their Kalosian cousins. Their darker pelts and ground-typing enable them camouflage and a stronger resistance to poison types, giving them better survival chances against Drapion, their main predators. This subspecies tends to be nocturnal, sleeping in the sun during the day and moving to find food and another safe spot during the night. Once they find a Dusk Stone, they will become an Electric-Dark Heliolisk. These Pokémon are extremely fast, able to run across an entire desert in one night. When spread out, their frills look like a five-pointed star: not only is it useful for absorbing light, but they can also use it to communicate over-long distances with others of their kind using electric signals and pulses.
