General Rules  Credit me for the original design. You don't have to do more than mention that I'm the designer the first time you use them and when you're reselling them.  You may change the design up a little, but not so that they're completely unrecognizable! What's the point of adopting something and then changing everything?  Don't use an adopt that you didn't buy, please.  Don't claim to be the designer of an adopt that I designed, please.    Use the adopt in some way. You don't have to draw them. You can write about them or use them for rp. Just try to use them. I want adopts to go to good homes.   If you've read these rules, add your favorite color into your comment on the adopt. Don't repeat colors that have already been used! Change it up.

What happens when I get detached?  You may resell the adopt, trade them, or gift them to someone.  Do not resell them for more than the value of the adopt (what you paid originally + commission prices + values of other art). That's pretty simple.  Do mention that I'm the designer, if you can.  Again, please do not claim to be the designer.  Do not attach new rules to the adopt when you resell them. It's not your design, so it's not fair of you to add rules.  My refund policy is further down, indicated by the blue dot. 

Preferences (not rules)  I'd love to see where you used the adopt, so, if you can, please tag me the first time you use them for art or literature.  If you've become detached and have time to spare, just tell me who you sold the adopt to. If you don't have the time, don't worry. I understand!  If you can, please remind people who buy the adopt from you of these rules, or at least some kind of moral code about the adopt.     If you grow detached within 30 days of adopting a character adopt and have not added any value to it, you can return the design to me and I'll give you a refund. It's completely understandable. However, it's probably to your best interest that you resell or give away characters. Outfit adopts cannot be refunded.

What happens if someone breaks the rules?  If someone breaks the rules, they will receive a reminder of the rules.  I expect that these rules are lenient and simple enough for y'all to follow.  If someone breaks the rules more than once or breaks them severely, they will be banned from my designs.
