Clarice Snowden

A librarian with a disorder that causes her to have snow instead of fur. She lives in a town where it's hot almost all year round, so she can't work any outdoor jobs. Luckily she's landed a job at the local library, which was a childhood dream of hers since a sick kid like her spent a lot of time indoors reading. Unfortunately that dream turns into a nightmare when she realizes the library has one of the worst rates of book returns in the state. Turns out tourists come in, check out books, and either forget to bring them back or take them home with them. Watching brand new books get checked out once and never returned has made her very, very cynical about tourism, the town, and people in general. Stop taking her damn books!

• Affected by a rare genetic disorder called SFD: Snowy Fur Disorder. It affects mostly furry people, but can appear in non furs too. It causes you to have a layer of soft snow instead of fur. Individuals who have it will freeze under extreme cold and melt in extreme heat, and often have sensitivities to light and sound and/or sight/hearing deficiencies
