「 I'm sorry for being a coward. . . I miss you. 」
Sage's origins are a mystery not only to those around him, but even to Sage himself. The only thing that he is able to recall is a vague whisper.
"Please... My only wish is to be happy." As far as Sage can remember, he came into the world hoping to spread cheer to others. While he was never the most outgoing individual or the best conversationalist, he was an excellent listener and extremely empathetic. His abilities helped the people around him to feel important, which made Sage incredibly happy. It was through his conversations that he learned more about his species and who he was. He had seen other winged individuals like him in places of fame, but it was relatively rare for him to encounter another Galatier on the streets. In any case, it made Sage into somewhat of a spectacle in the area he lived in. He didn't mind, however, since it let him get to know the people around him better. One day while Sage was spending some time by himself at a café, he heard a group of girls giggling nearby. He didn't think much of it at first, but curiosity got the better of him and he took a peek in the direction their voices came from. His face immediately flushed when he saw a cute girl with white hair sitting there, and he quickly faced forward again before any of the girls could catch him staring. He felt his heart flutter a bit in excitement, but he tried to remain as composed as possible. After a few seconds, he risked another peek in their direction. To his horror, one of her friends noticed his staring, and he made eye contact with them briefly before he panicked and faced forward once more. Their table became suspiciously quiet for a minute, but soon erupted with more giggles. "Come on, just go talk to him!" "No, no! I can't!" "Come on! It's not every day you see one. Since when were you the shy type?" Silence, followed by some more giggles. "Well, if you're not going to do anything..." There was a sound of a chair being pushed out and a few seconds later, there was a tap on Sage's shoulder. Pretending as though he had no idea what was going on, he turned to face the stranger and gave her an inquisitive look. The girl smiled brightly. "Hello! My friend liked your wings and wanted to talk to you, but she got shy." She turned to face her table. "Oh, here she comes now! If it's not too much, please keep her company for a bit, ok?" Sage turned his attention to the girl's friend and immediately felt his face heat up once more. The white-haired girl's face was red as well, and she was being pushed forward to him by two others. While she was protesting with her words, she gave little resistance to them and she had a bashful smile on her face. |

Lyla | Past Love Lyla and Sage met at a time when they weren't particularly looking for love, but they came to fall for each other quickly anyway. While they were physically attracted to each other from the beginning, it wasn't until they got to know each other more that their feelings for one another deepened. They truly believed that they had a future together and sought to remain together even in death. Things were complicated when Lyla fell ill, however, and Sage suddenly realized that he couldn't keep his promise to stay with her. After Lyla's angry outburst, it result in Sage's eye getting permanently damaged and he left her side at her request. Ever since then, Sage feels incredibly guilty for having abandoned Lyla at a time when she needed him most and has developed a fear of growing closer to other humans due to their emotional fragility and shorter lifespans. |
| Hayata | Friend Hayata is one of the few people Sage has allowed himself to get closer to in recent times. Though he has to admit that the bear cub certainly isn't the brightest person he's stumbled upon, he can't help but find it somewhat endearing at times. Whenever Hayata seems confused, Sage most often goes out of the way to make things clearer for him, though it doesn't always work. Despite the fact that Sage can't understand Hayata all the time, Sage enjoys Hayata's company especially when he's feeling down, since the cub has a tendency to radiate positivity and cheer. |

Taro | Friend Initially, Sage was intimidated by Taro's towering figure and the seemingly unapproachable vibe that he gave off, but he soon discovered that he was actually quite a big softie. He finds himself enjoying Taro's calm attitude and has gotten into the habit of coming to him when he needs help since Sage finds Taro to be very dependable, if not a little quirky and strange. Even though he would never admit it outright, he's actually extremely grateful to Taro for taking time to care for him when he's at his low points. |
