Backstory

Ikai's mother died in their homeland, causing her father to move to the empire's land when she was still a baby. Due to being raised in the north she has been intigrated into their society but hates that she is treated as lesser than everyone else just because she is a kobold. The Northern people were warry of her family at first but as she got older they accepted her into the town as a normal citizen. Due to being raised in the freezing north near the primordial plains she has seen a few primordial beings and has come to fear them as the other sailors do.

Hearing about her homeland from her Father's stories lead to her wanting to explore more of the lands and she craves the freedom he spoke of from their home. She belives that if she starts a trade empire she will be able to be truly free and go wherever she wants. She is still a sailor but is working to gain more influence to help kickstart her own business.
