Character

Background

Dima was born to an unknown monster woman and the Tsar, and similarly to his half-sister, he lived on the outskirts of The City's more urban center. However, unlike his sister, he didn't have his mother, nor did he have any human interaction. Dima was raised by the only people who were his assigned staff at the time: his nanny and a young man named Ardalion.

Dima showed promise early, and with his strong desire to please his father fueling his successes, Dima was moved into Tsentry and trained to become a councilor. It was a great honor for the young Dima, and with various people whispering of the Tsar's plans for him, Dima was consumed by his apparent destiny.

Without any human interaction, Dima began to look down on the majority of The City's inhabitants. He saw them as nothing more than insects and fodder. When he found out about the existence of his half human sister Valya as a young teen, he developed an inferiorty complex, unknowing of what the point of her existence was, and what Dima assumed to be their father's continued care of the girl who lived on the hill on the outskirts of The City. Dima's inferiroity complex was worsened by his brief encoutner with Valya's mother and questions of where his mother was, or if Valya and her mother were closer with his father than he was. He had no way of knowing, after all, as his father had never once directly interacted with him.

Personality

Dima has a nasty personality. He is hot headed and bad at expressing himself in ways other than anger. Dima doesn't respect anyone other than his father, who he reveres as if he were a god. Despite this, there are few people Dima is close to including his nanny, his aide Ardalion and a monster girl named Ediye. Despite this, he does a good job at pushing them away or keeping them at an arms length.

Dima is turbulent, and despite how he conducts himself in public and among The City's high society, he second guesses himself a lot. He doesn't realize how often he asks for Ardalion's opinion, only to completely disregard it before wondering if he should go back to it. He worries about how he appears to others, but would react explosively at the notion that he's self conscious at all. Dima is a walking pile of contradictions, as anyone can be. His worst trait is his propensity to jealousy and envy.

Abilities

Dima has full control over his powers. Being the son of The Tsar, he is more powerful than other monsters, making him exxtremely strong compared to human. Dima does not have the psionic powers or domain manipulation Valya has despite their shared paternity. He can shapeshift to disguise himself as human, but rarely does so.

Trivia

• Dima is surprisingly honest when it comes to his love life, but he doesn't hide a thing about himself to the person he loves.
• Dima had only ever seen Valya from afar or in passing when they were children. He would often check up on how she was doing and seethe.
• Dima is actually quite fond of writing. He keeps a diary he updates daily.
• Dima doesn't get along with any of the other councilors, especially the first, fourth and fifth.
• Dima likes to watch sports.
• Dima hates chocolate with nuts.
• Dima is bad at Mario Kart. He just has horrible luck when it comes to that game.
• Dima can't retort against a burn for his life. What near zero interaction with people your age does to a mf.
• Dima is actually very flexible. It catches his enemies off guard.
