Born in the dingiest slums of Virbank, Kendrick bounced from town to town being the hired muscle for any lowlife that would hire him. Eventually, after seeing a championchip battle, He decided that he wanted more out of life, so he robbed his last boss, Boss Ridley (Palkia), and ran off to make a name for himself as a professional battler, while doing his best to out everyone trying to hunt him down.
