Mar is the father of Water Cherry and the husband of Flumine. Long ago, Mar and his people were looking for a new homeland because their ocean was no longer safe. For months, the leaders lef Mar followed and the hopeful sirens to a new ocean. It was a long journey but the sirens were very happy because they knew that whatever they found is for the best. Mar and the sirens sang while they swam. One day, Mar was resting on a rock and singing softly to himself, he saw a man swimming away. Mar went after him thinking that he was a castaway and he could help him find his way home. Mar was surprised when he saw the man had webbed feet and he went further and further into the water without any fear of drowning. Mar kept swimming after him, at last the man got out of the water, Mar peaked out and saw that on the land there was small houses and in the water there were other humans with webbed feet like the man Mar saw. quickly, Mar went back to his sirens and told the leaders about the land he found. The leaders told Mar that they should leave them alone and find a new place, but after they said that, Flumine and her guards came up, Flumine saw Mar spying and went after him. The leaders said that they shouldn't trespass in her land, but Flumine insisted that they live with them. At last, Flumine got her way. A few years passed, and Mar was falling for Flumine, but he stayed away because she was only a teenager and he was becoming a man. Flumine loved Mar with her whole heart and at last with her parents and his leaders blessings, Mar married Flumine. Mar was 18 and Flumine was 14. Mar waited for a year to see if Flumine was happy with her marriage. Flumine was very happy and wanted kids, Mar made her wait until she was at least 16.
