People in The Forgotten Land have traveled days and weeks just to get help from the 80 million-year-old man who hides in the dark forest. Thorn Cherry is not really talkative to people due to his hideous past and heartbreak. He only helps those who call him and then he disappears as if he never helped or saw them. Years ago, Thorn Cherry was a happy, weird and very chatty young boy. Thorn Cherry was very friendly to others, but people didn't get near him because he was always bleeding from his head, feet, and any other part of his body. Thorn Cherry didn't mean to bleed on everything he touched it's wasn't his fault that thorny vines grew out of him and penetrated his body. Thorn Cherry was always the talk of the town and if anyone saw him coming from a distance, they cleared a path and act like they don't see the bleeding boy. Thorn Cherry didn't mind, he had other things to think of. Like the green haired girl that lived by the mountains. Whenever Thorn Cherry saw Bittercherry, nothing could destroy his happy day, they did everything together. If Thorn Cherry needed a band aid, Bittercherry was there with one. If Bittercherry someone to walk her to school, Thorn Cherry ran up. Thorn Cherry truly believed that Loyal Cherry blessed him greatly by sending Bittercherry into his bloody thorny life. Life was perfect for the two love struck teenagers... But that quickly changed after Bittercherry died. One cold gray afternoon, Thorn Cherry trotted up to Bittercherry's house and saw that the door was left open. Curious, Thorn Cherry walked inside and saw blood decorating the place and Bittercherry's father dead on the floor. Thorn Cherry went to find Psychedeliccherry but she was nowhere to be found. Scared, Thorn Cherry ran to Bittercherry's room and saw pools of blood on the bedroom floor and Bittercherry's horribly mutilated body on her bed... Thorn Cherry's world shattered. Life was nothing now to him. Thorn Cherry no longer saw peace and love in anybody he talked to. Everything was ruined.

After Bittercherries funeral, Thorn Cherry was so depressed that sometimes people worried about him. He no longer laughed, talked, or sang like he always did. People found him sleeping outside on the gravel by Bittercherries house or crying in a tree. Nobody knew how Bittercherry died only Thorn Cherry and he hated Pschedeliccherry for it. One day a few months before his eighteenth birthday. Thorn Cherry knew that Bittercherry was suffering out there and the only way to bring her back was to find her. Thorn Cherry left his older twin brothers and set off on foot to find Bittercherry. A few weeks later, Thorn Cherry found the cave where the people call to Devil Cherry. After entering and falling into a large hole, Thorn Cherry found himself alone in a room with two large locked doors. Thorn Cherry waited for Devil Cherry to call for him. A few hours later the large doors open for him. Thorn Cherry walked in slowly and saw Devil Cherry sitting at her desk writing. Devil Cherry looked up and beckoned him to come closer, Thorn Cherry sat in a chair in front of her desk and showed her a picture of Bittercherry. Asking her where is she was, Devil Cherry left her desk and a tall black man showed up and grinned wickedly at Thorn Cherry. Thorn Cherry knew who he was. It was Malin. Being shoved into another room, Malin showed Thorn Cherry what happens to the souls that are sold by force to Devil Cherry. Slavery, experiments and being changed into someone else. Thorn Cherry felt sick as he saw Bittercherry being lead away. Malin told Thorn Cherry that Bittercherry is going to be used for something else. Something very wrong and immoral. Thorn Cherry knew what he had to do. He told Devil Cherry he'll sell his soul in exchange for Bitercherries purity. Devil Cherry told him that once he signs the paper, he'll not be released until Bittercherry is set free. Thorn Cherry agreed. After Devil Cherry took Thorn Cherry's soul, Thorn Cherry was up for sale. After a few hours dragged on, Thorn Cherry returned to his home (Broken Heart Forest.), empty and upset. What he just did was going to continue for a long time.
