Minai is a bulky, muscular, and robust dragon. She is unusually large and strong. She has a deep, strong chest, muscular shoulders, heavy tail, and thick neck. She has a blocky head with a prominent chin and broad snout. She has bright orange eyes bordered by a spiked brow and cheekbone. Her jaw features a row of spikes. Her horns curve forward then upward and have a thick base. She has small, neat ears. Minai’s tail is carried high, and is covered with spines and spikes. Her legs are strong but her feet are perhaps a bit small and end in short claws. Minai’s wings are very broad. Her shoulders are covered with spikes, as are the wrists of her wings, and her outer thighs.

Minai’s coloration is uniformly a rich green fading into a slightly lighter mossy color on the ends of the wing membrane and underbelly. She has very faint striping at the base of her tail, the top of ner neck, and along her shoulders. Her claws, spikes, and horns are ivory in color.

Minai is gregarious and playfully vain. She appreciates company of any kind and while she ultimately prefers Eoin to all others, it takes little convincing to start a conversation. She is whiny and somewhat demanding, but her complaints can be stopped with a hearty meal, shiny trinket, or a bit of flattery. Still young, Minai can be a bit childish and pernicious but she is quick to forget transgressions and rarely does more than grouse.

Minai was hatched in a Dragon-Forge, a rare forge heated entirely by the captured flame of a dragon, at Angarth Keep. Her egg was purchased from her parents, as her birth was inconvenient to her dam and sire, who were leaving the country due to local threats. She has been raised by multiple generations of Keep Lords, who have used her enormous size and pliable nature to defend the region from threats human and dragon alike. She has had a series of handlers over the years but prefers no one more than Eoin Nairich.

Living a secret double life, Minai helped Eoin travel between Agandof and Aeos to visit his family. They adopted her into the fold willingly, and Minai has slowly become more aware of her position in society and the moral implications of her role. Though by no means a pacifist, she has become more wary of wanton violence and has begun to question her superiors in matters of war.

• Minai is relentless in her pursuit of soup, a food item which she has deems superior to all else.
• Due to her size, Minai is a relatively poor flier and rarely covers more than half a day’s distance at one time.
• Minai has a substantial hoard, though it is more tin and polished trinkets than true treasure. She guards it jealously nonetheless.
