Kawther Phyphen

Phyphen (murmur of the gods). Kawther lived her entire life in an orphanage in the poorest area of the city. She would occasionally hear whispers of strange origins guiding and protecting her, and for years all it was were whispers. She realized early on that no one else could hear them and would think that she was crazy if she told them so she kept quiet and simply ignored them. This went on till she turned 12 when those whispers grew into screams that wouldn't stop and she was left in a phased, almost lifeless state for weeks until a cleric from the local temple met her and declared her a Phyphen, saying that she can hear the words of the gods. From there she was taken to the main temple and was spiritually cleansed and taught how to distinguish and partially control these murmurs. However, these voices never completely went away leaving her in a constant tired state. After being taken in to the temple she knew that she had to take control of her life or else others around her would end up manipulating her for their own benefit. As such, she tried her best to learn as much about politics as possible and got close to some high ranked women in order to boost her social standing. She can be absolutely ruthless in public but in private she is more reserved and takes time to better herself.
