Mimi Hinagata (雛形 ミミ Hinagata Mimi, born 20 February XXXX) is a Japanese model known for her doll-like appearance. Beginning four years ago, she has been making appearances online and across Japan, beginning in Nagoya where she soon obtained her moniker, the Princess of Nagoya, after taking part in the Mikame Spring XXXX fashion show. Her mask and full-body suit with airbrushed doll-like joints, which she is always seen with, have made her appear as one of the first truly realistic living dolls, while others have used makeup and other tactics to try and become one

Her main forms of social media are Instagr*m and Tw*tter, where she posts photos of herself and lets her followers know of any shows, photo shoots, conventions, and other events she is involved in. Numerous people state that her look is enchanting and intriguing, something out of the norm that they can’t help but be positively interested in. Whether you see her on signs and commercials, or simply out on the street, which is actually a more common sight than one would think, it’s easy to pick her out from the rest.

A couple months ago, Hinagata had been a part of a photo shoot to showcase sailor lolita clothing designed by famed designer and former Ultimate, Nonon Ogasawara. It is most likely thanks to this and her past accomplishments that she has just recently been given the title of Ultimate Living Doll. She, and has reported on her social media that though this may make her far more busy, she would still do her best to keep up activity, not wishing to sadden or disappoint her fans.

Mimi is a girl who likes to keep herself looking ‘splendid and fancily formal, but also beautifully charming’, and her appearance reflects that. She is quite thin, with a triangular/pear body shape, and has short dull pink hair styled into loose waves that frame her face, or, rather, her mask. In place of a normal human face, one can see a mask made to resemble a doll, with icy blue eyes, long eyelashes, pale pink blush on its cheeks, and mauve taupe lips that form a soft faint smile; a rather neutral expression overall. Covering her body is a zentai suit, its color like fair skin to match her mask. On the suit are airbrushed doll-like joints to really add to the doll aesthetic.

Mimi wears a black button-up dress shirt with long sleeves. Over this is a purple, black, and white striped jumper dress with a lace-up back, black buttons, and black ruffles at the bottom. On her feet are frilly white ankle socks and a pair of black shoes with bows, but without much of a heel to give her any extra height. A black crown adorns the top of her head, placed neatly and tilted a bit to her right.

She doesn’t seem to like admitting it, but her look can be pretty creepy and unsettling to people.

Despite her eccentric appearance, Mimi seems to be a rather calm and down-to-earth individual. Though it may be necessary in her work at certain points, she doesn’t like to fool herself with delusions of grandeur or fairy tales, nor does she like even white lies in place of the harsh truth, though only from others. She will, however, allow herself to have a bit of fun in dim situations, sometimes playing a different role, sometimes making jokes, whatever she wishes to do at the moment. Usually this is seen from time-to-time in her faint talks of whimsy, something she doesn’t see as hypocritical of herself, but as just having a little bit of fun, something she plays with but doesn’t believe. Just don’t expect this sort of behavior of hers to be incredibly common after a while.

Though not at the forefront of her mind when interacting with others, Mimi can be quite kind and even agreeable...depending on the person. She highly values etiquette and manners in an individual; she believes it distinguishes the reliable people from the riff-raff. Thus, while she gets along just well with respectable, proper, and appropriate people, she lacks patience with any rude and disrespectful peers, quickly getting fed-up with them if they continue on with the act. She’ll attempt to teach the ‘proper way’ to act, but even then, she can be done quickly if the person is unwilling to listen or cooperate with her. She will willingly ignore such persons when they are encountered again, though, if possible, she’ll do her best to just avoid them in general

Nagoya’s princess has a number of customary ways of reacting depending on what she sees, actions that soon become routine once a person’s seen them a couple of times. When responding to signs of affection, whether they be platonic or romantic in nature, Mimi will be grateful, but not truly take them to heart. When she’s faced with someone who has a less-than-nice appearance? Why, she’ll fuss over the niceties and tell them to make their look one of the top priorities; as she states, one should always take care of their beauty, for it is ephemeral and could go away at any moment. Otherwise, she’ll act much more reluctant to interact with them, all in all showing off a bit of her bias and even more fussiness. Well, ‘beauty’ is a big part of her work, so of course it’d mean a lot to her. Against pressure? She’ll keep on her calm, neutral face for as long as she can, doing her best to get out of the situation asap. Being trusted with something would lead her to growing a tad more fond of whomever trusted her, but she’d be willing to give it up depending on how future events play out. And against all the bad things in life? Mimi will take them with a straight face, maybe take a second or two to show a hint of her feelings, but then act as calm as ever. She doesn’t seem changed much emotionally, quite detached as if she were an observer actually, but she takes what has happened to heart, her attention and focus on the matter proportionate with it.
