- Akatosh's blessing: Has the ability to turn into a Dov, though smaller and less powerful then the real creatures. He was granted this ability through assisting with a series of long quests given to him by Akatosh himself.
- Ancestor's Wrath: A power all Dunmer are born with. Using this power surrounds him in golden, fire-like energy that hurts enemies if they come to close. It may only be used once a day and it only lasts a short amount of time, though.   
- Resist Fire: As with all Dunmer, he has a high resistance to fire...burns coming only in the most extreme of flames.

Reason for ability: With the resurgence of the Dov, Vedran was called on as a Blade and expected to slay the beasts. But he was quick to refuse to harm them, feeling that it was the ongoing hostility that made Man and Dovah unable to live peacefully together. Even when threatened and attacked Vedran would spend his energy dodging and trying to talk to the Dovah. With such actions...he was spoken to by Akatosh through a shrine. After a series of quests that were meant to test Vedran's own vow to not harm the Dov he was granted the ability to understand them and join them in flight. Of course he didn't know what this meant when he agreed to the power, but he has never once regretted it. Vedran now uses this form to preach peace among the Dov...while trying to spread the same word to Elves and Man.
